Little Blue Bag of Sea Shells

She sells sea shells by the sea shore.....





This is my 4th time using a real macro lens, now...and I don't really like it xD

The lens I am using belongs to =Pandinus and is a Sigma 150mm and the reason I don't like it is because 1. I don't have extension tubes...and 2. because the depth of field is so shallow, every single fraction of a milimeter of movement can, and WILL, get caught in your photo. It sucks

Summer Colors is the theme for one contest. I would like to put my own perspective on this theme as the contest host has listed what [b] they [/b] think are colors that best represent summer.

No, this photo doesn't have flashy colors or bright flowers or anything like that, but if you open your mind a bit, what do you see when you think of summer?

Personally, I see beaches... kids playing in the sand, people dodging waves, and tourists collecting sea shells.

Seashells may not be the most flamboyant summertime subject, but they are definitely beautiful and each one is unique.... different....just like each person's opinion of what a summer color is.
