:boogie: He has such awsome colours on his fur. If I ever will get a Dachshund this is actully the colours that I want she/he to have. <3

Dapple is actually rare for the breed. We've been lucky to have two dappled dachshunds (pictured in my gallery, you have to search for them under "dog").

Both Abby and Willow have been great members of the family.

I know. There's one who breed this colourmix here in my homecountry. X3 I have just lost the number to her kennel. :XD: I have it in some dog magazine, I just have to find it among 100 dogmagazines I own. That's so gonna take time. :giggle:

They're pretty neat looking, but if you get a dachshund, make sure you either adopt from an animal shelter or go to a professional show breeder and not a backyard breeder or puppy mill.

Pro Breeders guarantee mental, physical, and health soundness their puppies and don't breed animals likely to pass on genetic diseases/abnormalities.

Animal Shelters aren't likely to re-home sickly animals and they temperament test all adoptable animals :]
